Competition Team
Students who demonstrate a love for dance and excel in their recital classes are encouraged to deepen their dance education through Competition.

Minimally, Team Dancers attend one extra class each week for rehearsal, in addition to their recital classes. This is usually on Monday evening.
The Team can also expect one weekend event each month. In Fall & Winter, these are choreography sessions, rehearsal days or guest instructor workshops. In Spring, the Team competes over 3 weekends. For 2025, one competition will be in Omaha and two in Kansas City area.
The cost of Team is +1 weekly class tuition for the rehearsal time and a monthly fee to cover costumes, entry fees, props and other team expenses.

The Association of Dance Competitions & Conventions Studio of Excellence Award recognizes one studio with dancers, staff and family members who are friendly, helpful, and show great sportsmanship backstage and throughout the competition.

Inspirations Academy has been sharing dance technique and appreciation, Inspiring Students to love the Arts for a lifetime, since 2007 in Savannah, Missouri. Inspirations is a More Than Just Great Dancing licensed affiliate studio, subscribing to a higher standard of teaching and management principles. Inspirations Academy houses Inspirations Preschool Academy, an arts-based educational program for ages 3-5. The company also includes Inspirations After School Academy at Minnie Cline & John Glenn Elementary Schools, serving students in SR3.
